University of the Sunshine Coast

USC is one of Australia’s best universities for teaching quality and overall student experience.

This is only achieved by partnering with local business, industry and governments to ensure we are offering the best teaching, learning and research opportunities to our communities.

Our research is rated at world standard. We’re the number one university in Queensland for climate action, actively working with local organisations to ensure the future of the Fraser Coast region’s unique biodiversity. We have specialised experts studying and helping protect the region’s humpback whales, sea turtles and manta rays.

We have an ongoing partnership with the Butchulla Aboriginal Corporation to protect and preserve the World Heritage-listed K’gari through research-focussed solutions.

When it comes to business, we understand what’s important. Our academics work closely with industry bodies such as Fraser Coast Tourism and Events to ensure the region’s economy remains strong and robust to external pressures.

In short, we’re committed to working with government, industry and community to unlock the full potential of our regions. We would love the opportunity to work with you to make change happen.
