With over two decades of experience in financial markets and a reputation for delivering clear and engaging economic commentary, David’s presentation is a must-attend for anyone interested in understanding the forces shaping our economic future.
David Robertson joined Bendigo Bank 22 years ago as Head of Financial Markets and now serves as the bank’s Chief Economist and Head of Economic and Markets Research. His career spans senior roles in Treasury for the State Bank of NSW, First Chicago, and Commonwealth Bank. David’s regular economic commentaries are widely respected, and his unique style has garnered a loyal following for his regular YouTube segments.

Turtles in Trouble Rescue (TITR) is an incorporated not-for-profit that formed in December, 2021. Trained TITR volunteers respond to stranded, sick and dead sea turtles along the Fraser Coast. Hervey Bay has been recognised as a “hotspot” for sea turtle strandings and the TITR team has seen stranding numbers increase after the recent flooding events.
